The short version
The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The factors you pick are never sent anywhere. Analytics load only if you press Accept, and you can decline without losing any functionality.
What stays on your device
Your estimate lives in the page URL, after the #. Everything after that
character is handled by your browser and is never transmitted to a server, so pasting a
shared link does not tell anyone that you opened it. Your cookie choice is stored in
localStorage under cookie-consent so you are not asked twice. You
can clear it at any time through your browser's site-data settings.
Analytics
If you press Accept, the site loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID
G-VG9PN1RWWE) to count page views and understand roughly how the tool is used.
Google sets cookies in the _ga family, typically retained for up to two years,
and receives your IP address and referring page as part of that request. No estimate values
are sent.
Until you press Accept, no request is made to Google at all — the analytics script is not loaded, not merely disabled. If you press Decline, nothing loads then or on any later visit.
Changing your mind
Clear this site's data in your browser settings and the banner will reappear on your next visit, letting you choose again. You can also install a browser-level opt-out via Google's opt-out add-on.
Hosting and offline use
The site is served as static files. Standard web-server access logs may record your IP address and user agent for operational purposes. A service worker caches the app so it works offline; that cache lives on your device and holds no personal data.
